Fire Prevention Week

Every year during Fire Prevention Week (second week of October), several of our members take time off their daily jobs to sit with students at Kerr Elementary School and teach them fire prevention and fire safety practices. Students are able to ask us any questions they may have about our equipment and what to do if there were a fire. Each student is given a "goodie bag" that contains a coloring book, stickers, pencils, etc. At past events, we have also provided Tot Finder window decals and smoke detectors.
