Every year during Fire Prevention Week (second week of October), several of our members take time off their daily jobs to sit with students at Kerr Elementary School and teach them fire prevention and fire safety practices.  Students are able to ask us any questions they may have about our equipment and what to do if there were a fire.  Each student is given a "goodie bag" that contains a coloring book, stickers, pencils, etc.  We have also provided Tot Finder window decals and smoke detectors in the past.

Photos below are from October 12, 2005 when we had STAT MedEvac land.  Students met with the pilot and crew of STAT and were able to get a first hand look inside their new helicopter.
