Pleasant Valley Volunteer Fire Department is dedicated to serving and protecting our community. Our team of volunteer firefighters is committed to providing emergency response, fire prevention, and community education. We take pride in our work and are always ready to go the extra mile to keep Pleasant Valley safe.

​Pleasant Valley Volunteer Fire Company was first formed in 1909 to provide fire protection in the southwestern area of O'Hara Township located 6.5 miles north of Pittsburgh.  With over 100 years of service, Pleasant Valley Volunteer Fire Company is one of two fire companies that protect and serve O'Hara Township's residential and commercial areas as well as the surrounding communities.  The other department that makes up our Fire District includes Parkview Volunteer Fire Department.  Our many dedicated volunteers serving the community are committed to putting fire safety and prevention first.
