About

Pleasant Valley Volunteer Fire Company was first formed in 1909 to provide fire protection in the southwestern area of O'Hara Township located 6.5 miles north of Pittsburgh.  With over 100 years of service, Pleasant Valley Volunteer Fire Company is one of two fire companies that protect and serve O'Hara Township's residential and commercial areas as well as the surrounding communities.  The other department that makes up our Fire District includes Parkview Volunteer Fire Department.  Our many dedicated volunteers serving the community are committed to putting fire safety and prevention first.
